Ujima Career Center, Inc. is a community intervention based on the importance of uplifting each individual and strengthening the family structure through collective work, responsibility, & progress.

We provide solutions in several types of employment relationships

  • Low income

  • At risk

  • Unemployed

  • Kids aged out of foster care

  • Veterans

  • Probationers & parolees

Carson, CA is a diverse community with a population of 91.4k people in 2020, with an unemployment rate of 6.9%, much higher than that of California’s 5.5% and the national rate of 4.7%. As more community members seek employment, it will be beneficial for them to acquire trade and technical skill sets that allow them to join the workforce, earn a good salary and be able to provide for themselves and their families.
